MG Financial Services Private Limited has been incorporated with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) under the Companies Act 2017, as a Non-Bank Finance Company (NBFC). The Company has been awarded two Licenses to perform functions as a Micro-Finance Institution and as a Securities Advisor.

MG Financial Services is a Dream realization of Our ‘Patron-in-Chief’ & ‘Visionary Director’ Madam Mariam Gracia (MG) – The Headmistress of St. John’s Secondary School.

MG Financial Services has its roots deep amidst a small school-based micro-finance society named as the “Triple L” ‘Live | Long | Life – Society’ founded by Madam Mariam Gracia. In 2005, Madam Mariam Gracia had observed that several of her school’s staff members took loans from informal Money Lenders. Despite scheduled repayments, the members found themselves to have fallen into a debt trap by the Money Lenders who were charging exorbitant interest rates on these Loans.

In a resolve to pull out her staff from their burgeoning debt trap, Madam Mariam Gracia decided to raise capital; through the help of her school’s staff members, friends, and family members, and extend financial assistance to her staff aimed at liberating them – thus laying the foundation for “Triple L – Society”. The extended financial-assistance amount was to be recovered in easy installments from their monthly salaries while charging a nominal service fee. This arrangement became an instant success and over a small period all the affected staff members were relieved from their debt burdens.

Madam Mariam Gracia left us in September 2021 for eternal abode while bestowing her family and friends with her dream of a Financial Institution, laying down the Vision, Steps and Foundations for MG Financial Services Private Limited

Shahid Nasim
Chairman & CEO
Mr. Shahid holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Bahauddin Zakriya University and Master of Arts in Development Economics (MA-Econ.) from Karachi University along with a Diploma in Banking from Institute of Bankers in Pakistan (IBP). Mr. Shahid has over 35 years of experience working with Banking and Regulatory Organizations such as Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), and the Investment Corporation of Pakistan (ICP), reaching the zenith of his career as the ‘Advisor to the Chairman – SECP’.
Lloyd Suleman
Director
Mr. Lloyd Suleman holds an MS in Investment Management & Quantitative Risk Management from Fox School of Business – Temple University, Philadelphia, USA, a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with Majors in Marketing and Finance from Institute of Business Management, (IoBM) along with a Diploma in Big Data Analytics from Institute of Business Administration (IBA). Mr. Lloyd has 3 years of experience in Investment Management which includes his association with UBL Fund Managers as a 'Research Analyst' and leading the ‘Investment Wing’ of ‘Fair Digital Bank’ as a ‘Senior Investment Manager’.
Anosh Noor Anthony
Director
Mr. Anosh holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with Majors in Accounting & Management Information Systems (MIS) from St. Mary’s University, San Antonio, Texas, USA. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Mr. Anosh holds over 10 years of experience in IT Audit, Compliance and Cyber Security. Currently, Mr. Anosh heads the ‘IT Audit’ as ‘Team Lead IT Auditor’ in ‘Outdoor Advertising Company’.
Pervaiz Taj Bhatti
Independent Director
Mr. Pervaiz Bhatti holds Bachelor degree from Karachi University (KU) and a Diploma in Banking from Institute of Bankers in Pakistan (IBP), Karachi. Mr. Bhatti has over 35 years of experience in Commercial Banking being associated with National Bank of Pakistan (NBP). He was Regional Head in Karachi Region and Chief Coordinator for the Operations Group. He worked as Divisional Head Commercial & SME Division. He also served as Member President Task Force. He retired as the Executive Vice-President HRM Group in 2013 from NBP.

Dr. Loyala Kanwal
Director
Dr. Loyala Kanwal holds a Master of Science in Biostatistics from University of Connecticut, Connecticut, USA – a Public Ivey League, a Master of Public Health from De-Paul University, Chicago, USA along with a MBBS degree from Liaquat National Medical College, Karachi. Dr. Loyala has over 9 years of experience in Medicine, Healthcare Management and Medical Research which includes, working as ‘Medical Officer’ with Liaquat National Hospital, as a ‘Public Health Administrator’ for Chicago Department of Public Health and as a ‘Research Coordinator’ for University of Chicago.
Dr. Lydia Sumbel
Advisor to the Board
Dr. Lydia Sumbel holds a Master of Public Health from University of Texas at Houston, USA along with an MBBS degree from Ziauddin Medical College. Dr. Lydia has over 10 years of experience in Medicine, Healthcare Management and Medical Research which includes, working as a Medical Officer in Ziauddin Hospital, as a ‘Clinical Research Assistant’ in Children’s Hospital in San Antonio, a ‘Case Investigator’ for the City of San Antonio along with working as a ‘Graduate Research Assistant’ & ‘Social Media Coordinator’ for University of Texas at Houston.
